The Blue Book lists Koo Koo Ku Hoo Lodge as having released two Jacket patches, with the only difference in the two patches being the O's are squared in J1B. Lodge members attest to their being only one loom run of the patches. Research into this brought out that the variation derives from the lettering being hand stitched by two different persons, with a certain number of patches being sewn with round O's and the rest squared O's.
